Our Northeast Ohio PC Club (NEOPC) together
with the Computer Assisted Genealogy Group (CAGG) conduct classes weekly at the
Fairview Park Senior Center. We instruct seniors citizens regarding the use of
personal computers. We have been conducting
these classes since 2001 and have accommodated over 1000 folks who have never sat before a computer prior.
Volunteers from both organizations assist in
computer training. NEOPC's Lee Gerber ably maintains the ten computers and
continually remedies the ills of public utilization. Contact Bill Frank or
Dick Rose if interested in assisting.
Remember, if you are 55 or older you are
eligible to participate in these classes FREE. They are designed for the novice
through expert so I'll bet we have a few classes of interest to you,
regardless of your computer smarts. To get started you merely have to
attend one of the monthly "Orientation" meetings (without invitation) and
decide which classes you wish to be included in. Don't forget, your family
is eligible if old enough, regardless of where they live.
